This family home has recently been lovingly rebuilt to the highest standard, combining modern comforts with unique character. Though it's a lower-level suite, high 9-foot ceilings and a full glass entryway flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

*We've lived on the street for 30 years. This is a 120 year old family home that we've rebuilt from scratch with loving care. The furnishings and fixtures are quality throughout.

*We're social, but we don't entertain any partying in our guest suite, so please respect us and the neighbours.

Our family members are your cohosts and main point of contact, available 24/7 for any issues, next door.

*Walk Score 94. Excellent transit. Very bike-able.

*Roncesvalles Avenue ("Roncy") is the best high street in a "city of neighbourhoods" because it is has the widest range of shops and services, the best transit options, and it's the only one with a view of the lake!

*Lake Ontario's western beaches are 10 minutes walk away. There's a huge public pool on Sunnyside Beach. There are also boat clubs nearby, and a couple of lovely patios to enjoy a lakefront drink.

*High Park (15 minutes walk) is 400 acres of hills, streams, ponds and forest, including some first-growth trees.

*Queen Street West (aka West Queen West) is fantastically vibrant and diverse.

*Dundas West (aka DuWest) and Ossington = absolutely popping with nightlife.

*On Roncy or Queen or Dundas or Ossington there are so many great restaurants and cafés, it's too long a list to include here. Almost every cuisine on earth is available.

*All local high streets offer superb shopping for fashion as well, with unique boutiques showing the latest looks as well as an abundance of carefully curated vintage shops.

*Art galleries, antique stores - too many to name. The new Museum of Contemporary Art is a short walk away.

This is the best neighbourhood in Canada for getting from A to B!

*Streetcars (501, 504, 505, 506) abound. Buses too.

*Subway is walking distance (15 mins) or a short connection via streetcar or bus.

*City-rent Bicycle stations are very close by. Ask us about other biking options.

*Express train to Pearson Airport (UPX) or Union Station is nearby. Be at the airport or inter-city train station within 20 minutes or less.

*Short ride from Pearson Airport or downtown city "island" airport, aka, Billy Bishop Airport

*Street parking is available for a modest fee from the city of Toronto. There are also many car-sharing services with vehicles available nearby.
